Greetings from Malaysia.
Salam hormat and Hello to all Pesilat and Martial Artists from around the world.  
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone to be safe and be protected against the Corona Virus epidemic. May God protect us all, against this epidemic and all sickness, Amen.

We are hoping all these chaos be gone by summer and we could proceed with our proposed 2nd Malaysia International Silat Summer camp 2020 which is scheduled in July 2020.  We have decided to push the date forward from 13-19 July 2020 to 20-26 July 2020. We are hoping to give a little bit more time for the world to overcome this epidemic and we can proceed with camp.   

Again, It is my pleasure to invite you to Malaysia in July 2020 to attend the 2nd Malaysia International Silat Summer Camp in Malaysia. World number ones supreme Grandmasters and high rank Grandmasters of six renowned Malaysia silat styles has agreed to teach at the camp. Come and train direct with the man himself, the Mahaguru and wakil Mahaguru.

I am proud to announce the supreme Grandmasters Mahaguru Haji Sani Zainal Abidin of Silat Kuntau Tekpi Malaysia, Mahaguru Haji Zainal Shiekh Nawab of Penang Silat Tua, Wakil Mahaguru Tok Mat Putih of Silat Seni Gayong Malaysia, Wakil Mahaguru Tok Yusoff Shariff of Silat Gayung Harimau Malaysia, Wakil Mahaguru Mawlid Zaenie of Silat Gayung Fatani Malaysia and I are very happy to welcome you all to Malaysia and teach at the camp.

Every style and Mahaguru is special. Come and learn direct from them.  In this  1 week long  awesome summer camp, the Mahaguru will be teach the fighting science of  the legendary Keris, the world famous Tekpi (Trisula - Sai), the powerful Lembing (Spear), the ruthless Parang (Machete), the deadly Rantai (chain) and the feared Kapak kecil (small axe). On top of all these, the empty hand fighting science of Silat, Pukulan (striking) and Kuncian (grappling) will also be taught at the camp.

To celebrate the recent award (13 December 2019) from UNESCO to Malaysia, Silat as the Intangible art form of our nation,  I would like to welcome you  to my country Malaysia and train Silat direct  from the source. It is the safest country in Southeast Asia. The people are friendly and welcoming. We all speak English that makes communication easy. ​He is founder and master instructor of the British Silat Association, King Tiger Muay Thai Kickboxing International, Silat Tomoi Group, Harimau Berantai Silat International, Gayong Harimau Silat International, Bladetech International, 4K combative and his own Jak Othman Kickboxing & Martial Arts Studio. He teaches battlefield Silat, ancient Tomoi, street Muay Thai and reality based fighting methods at his studio and travels across the globe to promote and teach martial arts. He is the also a college professor and head of the Martial Arts Science faculty of the Institute of Physical Science, Culture and Arts Malaysia. The Prof will teach Kapak Kecil, the small axe and Silat Tomoi, assisted by Guru Ammir Izzat at the camp.

He is the Grandmaster of Silat Gayong Harimau a silat style that originated from Kedah, the 1st ancient Malay Empire. The world has seen the art through Prof. Jak Othman. You have seen the apprentice in action; it is time for you to experience the hand of the master himself. Gayong Harimau is a unique silat style base on the fighting science of the Keris, the Silat warrior weapon. In this camp, wakil Mahaguru Yusoff Shariff will teach the way of the Keris. He will reveal the history, philosophies, strategies and combative methods that made the keris the weapon of ancient silat warriors. Come and discover why the Keris is always consider the weapon of the Pendekar (warriors). He will also be teaching Kuncian the grappling techniques of Silat Gayung Harimau Malaysia.

​He is the Mahaguru of Silat Tua (ancient) base in Penang Island Malaysia, another silat style of the 1st century Kedah Empire. This man is not new to international martial arts community. The Mahaguru already has students travelling from around the world to train here with him frequently. For this camp, the Mahaguru has chosen to teach the fight science of the Tekpi (Trisula aka Sai). Those who are into this world renowned martial arts weapon do not miss this camp! Come and discover the fight secrets of  silat’s iron truncheon . Tekpi  is sometimes known as the King of all weapons in the Silat world.  The Mahaguru will also be teaching the empty hands fighting methods of Kuntau Pasak Besi.

This Grandmaster is a student of the founder of Silat Seni Gayong Malaysia, the late Mahaguru Datuk Meor Abdul Rahman. He is one of the top 5 Warriors instructors and the chief Instructor at the Silat Seni Gayong Malaysia HQ chosen by the late Mahaguru. He is the icon of the style. Many Seni Gayong masters today are original students of this maestro. He will teach you the fight science of the lembing the spears. Come and discover the way of Lembing, one of silat most respected weapon from the battlefield. Tok Mat will also be sharing Gayong combat empty hands fighting methods.

This Mahaguru is internationally renowned supreme Grandmaster; he has many students across the globe teaching Silat Kuntau Tekpi. This style originated from the palace of the ancient Kedah Empire. For hundreds of years, the warriors of Kedah Empires have fought countless battles against to foreign powers. One of the secret of the glorious empire was Silat Kuntau tekpi. In this camp, the Mahaguru will be teaching the way of the Rantai or the iron chain. You have seen and may experienced the Okinawa and Chinese version, come and discover the Rantai fighting science of Mahaguru Haji Sani Zainal Abidin. Empty hand silat of Kuntau Tekpi will also be taught in this camp.

​Let me introduce to you this new Maestro. Guru Mawlid the latest edition to the line up of Silat experts teaching at the camp. He is a Master of Silat Gayung Fatani Malaysia who comes highly recommended by the board of Grandmasters of this national federation. This Silat style is made famous by the late founder Allahyarham Pendita Haji Anuar Wahab. Gayung Fatani Malaysia is another Silat style from the ancient Kedah Empire. There are claims that it originated from ancient silat style of Kedah and believed to be one of the oldest silat style of Nunsantara. Guru Mawlid will be teaching Seni Parang the machete of Silat. He will also sharing the Seni Tari (Bunga) of Gayung Fatani and show how it is related to combat.

Training Fee

USD $1,300 or equivalent per participant.
​Training spouse fee is just $700. 
All kids train FREE (provided one of the parent is paying full fee). Non-training spouse and friends will not be charged training fees.

USA: Pay USD$50 deposit. You will get a discount of $50. This deposit will be refundable if this event is cancelled. Pay $1,200 when you arrive on 19 July 2020 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to join the camp.

Local Travelling fee

  2. Baling to Penang Island and Butterworth on the 20th July 2020.
  3. Butterworth to Pangkor Island on the 22nd July 2020.
  4. Ferry from ride from Lumut to Pangkor on the 22nd July 2020.
  5. Pangkor Island back to JOKMAS Subang Jaya on the 26th July 2020.
