He highlighted the lightning fast lead backfist, the crushing croco kick and anti bully methods to them. Prof will be home soon. He flys out of Durban this Wednesday.

Prof Jak in Durban, South Africa. The first of 3 parts Prof Jak's Art of War 2018 seminar hosted by Guru Salim Badat kicked off smoothly in Durban on Friday. It was a fast and furious session exploring the empty hand fighting methods of Silat and Tomoi. Everybody enjoyed the seminar. The group will return tomorrow for part 2 featuring blades of Silat. The Prof has just completed the two seminar at the Impact Martial Arts Academy hosted by Guru Mark Elliott. The participants loved every minute of it. Empty hands fighting methods of Muaythai, Tomoi and Silat were covered on 23rd September 2017 which was the first day of the seminar. Tomoi devastating elbows were the highlight of Day 1. Day 2 was Silat weapons. The Prof taught unarmed defense against knife attacks, tanduk kerbau or double blade Kerambit and Tongkat fighting methods. The participants were blown away! After the seminar was Silat certification; Phase 2 Kapak Kecil, Phase 2 Kerambit and phase 1 Belati knife. Guru Mark and Jurulatih Andy Foster (Impact County Durham) with their senior students are now Phase 2 Kapak Kecil certified. In the next 2 days, Guru Mark and his top student Jurulatih Andy Wilde will be doing private sessions with the Prof.
The way of the Tongkat. The main highlight of the 2nd day Manchester seminar was the way of the Tongkat. Prof Jak started teaching the Tongkat syllabus of Silat Gayong Harimau to the participants. The Impact Martial Arts Academy members enjoyed the Tongkat methods so much that they requested the art to be taught and practiced in the Academy soon.

Second day of the Prof's Art of War Seminar went well. The participants return for another 4 hours of Belati knife, Kerambit, Kapak Kecil, Keris and Sarong fighting with Prof. It was mind blowing to everyone. They just love Silat weapons. Silat classes will soon be kicking off at JAI Martial Arts, Sydney.
Dinner was at an Italian restaurant. Delicious!
